BYD Kazakhstan 2026: Seal 6 and Atto 8 on the calendar, Denza Leopard framed hybrids to follow

Astana Motors started official BYD retail in Kazakhstan in January 2025 with Song Plus EV, Song Plus DM-i and Han. Public launch communications put opening prices from about 15.7 million tenge, with a 6 year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty and 8 years on the Blade battery — always confirm the current booklet.

For 2026, local dealer-channel reporting (not a factory price list) describes:

- Seal 6 sedan and Atto 8 crossover — sales window described as spring–summer 2026.
- Denza sub-brand: body-on-frame hybrids Leopard 5 (B5) and Leopard 8 (B8), debut discussed for mid-2026, certification in progress.
- A hybrid Yuan Up next to the existing EV-only Yuan Up, certification discussed for spring.

The distributor’s stated aim is to more than triple 2025 volume and enter the country’s top-10 new-car brands in 2026. Treat that as a channel target, not a registration fact until the year closes.

Desk takeaway: official KZ retail and China FOB export are two different cars legally. Do not mix Astana Motors sticker language into a Ningbo FOB offer, and do not promise Denza dates before OTTS/certification is on paper.
